Indonesia has unresolved sea border issues with PNG, Palau

Indonesia’s Navy Chief of Staff Admiral Soeparno says Indonesia has many unresolved sea border problems with other countries that have the potential of triggering conflicts.

Indonesia still has sea border problems with Timor Leste, Palau, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea and Australia, he says.

Antara reports Soeparno  as saying Indonesia`s strategic environment was subject to very fast, complex and unpredictable developments at regional as well as national levels and this would only make its sea border problems with other countries more complicated.
