Siburan and RH Resources sign joint venture for PNG exploration, mining

Siburan Resources has signed a joint venture agreement with Malaysia-registered RH Resources to acquire mineral exploration and mining projects in Papua New Guinea.

Mining Weekly reports that the agreement provides for Siburan to hold a 30% share of the joint venture, with RH holding the balance.

“We are very excited to be working with RH Resources as we intend to be a significant mineral exploration player in PNG. PNG is a world-class resource area, rich in precious and base metals such as gold, copper and nickel,” says Siburan MD Noel Ong.
