A group of Japanese investors is in Fiji exploring investment and trade opportunities. The 17- member delegation from Okinawa is particularly interested in water resources, renewable energy and fisheries.
JICA representative Ito Masahiro says the group has met Investment Fiji, the Public Works Department and the Water Authority of Fiji to discuss water supply to rural areas and other issues.
Fiji Live reports the group is currently visiting water treatment plants in the West. After Fiji it will visit Tonga and Samoa .
