Singapore and Fiji to strengthen ties

The Singaporean government has approved Fiji’s participation in the Singapore Cooperation Programme, which is aimed at helping governments improve their delivery of services.

Fijilive reports Fiji Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum as saying there are many areas in which Fiji and Singapore can collaborate for mutual benefit.

“Fiji is pleased to have Singapore’s support as we look to enhance our cooperation as a way to bring more opportunity to Fijians, and through the Cooperation Programme improve how our government functions,” he said.
