Palau expects record visitors

Palau expects to see record high visitor numbers for the rest of 2011.

The Marianas Business Journal reports  Yumie Morishita, sales and marketing manager for the Palau Pacific Resort, as saying resorts and hotels in Palau were completely full.

Morishita says while the Japan market continues to be mixed, Taiwan vistors are up.

Additional flights will add to inbound opportunities from Korea. “Korean Air will be launching two scheduled flights a week in December; Asiana is flying four times a week until February next year,” Morishita said. “Now the issue is the rooms.”
